Located in front of Shirakawago bus terminal. We offer homemade seasonal vegetables and wild vegetables dishes. The local rice with local ingredients dishes. Come relax with us when you visit Shirakawago

We accept advance reservations as well. 

We sell original handmade products and local folk crafts. Take a break and have a cup of coffee  and relax at our shop.

Tanakaya is a nice and quiet atmosphere  restaurant 

It is restaurant in 250-year-old in traditional Gassho-zukuri house. The home-brewed magnolia miso has an appetizing taste, and we recommend the miso steak set menu and salted roasted seafood set menu that are exquisitely associated with Hida beef. We also serve other menu as well.

It is a traditional gassho-zukuri shop restaurant surrounded by nature. The Hida beef grilled-miso set menu is our good recommended.

Located in front of Wada house. Our recommended Doburoku and Marron's (chestnut) sweets depend on the season.

It is Road Station after Shirakawago IC where you can take a rest, there also a display of Gasso-zukuri architect and explain the building process of Gassho-zukuri house. There also Souvenir shop with various products.
