About 15 km from the World Heritage Village, there is a nationally designated important cultural property house called Toyama-ke (Former Toyama Family Residence. As well as tour facility). The local restaurant in the area serve local dishes. Of course, you can spend a relaxing time by visiting the house before and after lunch.
