With the renovation the room is fully equipped with floor heating, so you can stay warm even in winter.

Why don't you spend the night in traditional Gassho house inn in Shirakawa-go? In the midst of the corona, we limit the number of guests and strive to be "safe and secure". We are located at the center of a World Heritage village, the gassho-zukuri house which has been protected and preserved by our different generations for 320 years. Over 40 years since we living proud with our delicious homegrown rice and local ingredients and which nature provides. We would like to continue pursuing "the living proud way of life" while preserving our gassho-zukuri house.

We are proud of living in our old gassho-zukuri farm house, and we want everyone to to experience the way of life we are living. From Spring to autumn on the front side of the house you can relax on the veranda and enjoy the scenery of the village, and the nature of the Shogawa river on the back side.

Located along the Shogawa River,it is a 300-year gassho-zukuri inn with an Irori. Please enjoy your stay and experience the country life in this historical village of Shirakawago.

Located in the village of Gassho-zukuri farm houses in Ogimachi district, Shirakawa-go.
It is a relaxing Gassho Minshuku with a fireplace.
You can feel calm in the family-like atmosphere.
 

It is Gassho-zukuri inn located on the banks of the river near to Shirakawago Bus Terminal. You can relax while listening to the murmuring of the river and enjoy the countryside atmosphere. We serve homegrown rice and vegetables which were grow reduce pesticides.  At dinner the proprietress will perform the umbrella dance which is a traditional performance in Shirakawa-go.
Enjoy the fresh homemade dinner in  traditional  style.

This Gassho-style guesthouse is surrounded by mountains, offering a deep sense of the beauty of all four seasons.
Our home belongs to one of the few remaining families in the village with three generations of thatched roof artisans.
Alongside our craftsmanship, we cherish and preserve the spirit of "Yui"—the bonds and mutual support between people.

Shiroyamakan was built in 1884 and has been selected as a nationally important traditional building.　It is the traditional inn priding itself on its cuisine where you can enjoy the pre-eminent dishes of all seasons in Shirakawa-go.
We have a good reputation that is warm and courteous customer service because we have only four groups per day.
We produce more rich travel time in Shirakawagou.
