Backed by mountains, it is located near the observation dock and ‘Wada farm house’ which is the national asset.
This is a calm inn and you can wake up to the sound of birds and the murmur of a stream.

It is  60 years-old house guesthouse located about 10 minutes walk from Shirakawago Bus Terminal. There is  a convenience store in front of the guesthouse.

It is Gassho-zukuri inn located on the banks of the river near to Shirakawago Bus Terminal. You can relax while listening to the murmuring of the river and enjoy the countryside atmosphere. We serve homegrown rice and vegetables which were grow reduce pesticides.  At dinner the proprietress will perform the umbrella dance which is a traditional performance in Shirakawa-go.
Enjoy the fresh homemade dinner in  traditional  style.

We serve homemade seasonal dishes using local ingredients.
We also use home-grown rice for health.
Please relax and unwind from city life in the rich nature and seasonal scenery.

The inn is located on the banks of the Shogawa River which flows between Hida and  Hokuriku region. There was “Kagonowatasi”which is ‘a rope-bridge crossed in a basket’ connecting　Shirakawa-go and Gokayama distrct. Since then we have been loved by many tourist.

Though time has passed and the bridges and the roads have been constructed, we interact with the spirit of hospitality born and raised in a country village deep in snow.

（cf※ a rope-bridge in a basket had been used as one of the transportations in harsh natural environments in stead of the bridge.）

Not only can you enjoy the seasonally nature experience program but also the accommodation itself also providing a relaxing and warm stay space. Also natural hot springs that good for your skin, and french cuisine using local ingredients.

It is Gassho-zukuri house built from late Edo period, located in the World Heritage Site.
With the renovation the room is fully equipped with floor heating, so you can stay warm even in winter.
It is also convenient location to walk around the tourist facilities.

You can choose from the two accomodation plans ,the 18,000 yen or the 15,000 yen . The dinner of the 15,000 yen plan  is not  included Hida beef dishes.
It will cost an extra charge,if you have other requests such as soba dishes and soba sweets.

While staying in Shirakawagou,the only thing to do enjoying calm and slow life in the countryside which you cannot find in the city.

This is the only `Tsumairi‘ style "Gassho-Zukuri" Inn built 400 years ago.
※`Tsumairi‘ style is Japanese traditional architectural style where the main entrance is on one or both of the gabled sides.

We opened in 2002 ,30th year of the Heisei period in the Japanese calendar.
This is an old house brought over from the Hida district and reassembled here.
