The inn is located on the banks of the Shogawa River which flows between Hida and  Hokuriku region. There was “Kagonowatasi”which is ‘a rope-bridge crossed in a basket’ connecting　Shirakawa-go and Gokayama distrct. Since then we have been loved by many tourist.

Though time has passed and the bridges and the roads have been constructed, we interact with the spirit of hospitality born and raised in a country village deep in snow.

（cf※ a rope-bridge in a basket had been used as one of the transportations in harsh natural environments in stead of the bridge.）

You can bring in all your own food 🌽Tsugihira Restaurant is located in front of the guesthouse 🍜.
We also have take out available 😌🎶.
There is also a “Shiromizu-no-yu” restaurant 3 minutes away on foot. ♨️

Please clean up after yourself when using shared items. Please cooperate with garbage separation.
Please contact the manager immediately if there is any damage.
If you do not sign the agreement, you will not be allowed to stay in the room.

Shiroyamakan was built in 1884 and has been selected as a nationally important traditional building.　It is the traditional inn priding itself on its cuisine where you can enjoy the pre-eminent dishes of all seasons in Shirakawa-go.
We have a good reputation that is warm and courteous customer service because we have only four groups per day.
We produce more rich travel time in Shirakawagou.

We opened in 2002 ,30th year of the Heisei period in the Japanese calendar.
This is an old house brought over from the Hida district and reassembled here.
Feeling Japan in the old days, enjoy the cuisine of the mountain village and the natural hot spring of Hirase district.
It will be a wonderful trip resonated with you.

It is  60 years-old house guesthouse located about 10 minutes walk from Shirakawago Bus Terminal. There is  a convenience store in front of the guesthouse.

Our Gassho-zukuri inn with thached roof  has nearly 300 years history.
We will show the shamisen (traditional Japanese musical) perfomanse at the dinner. It will warm your heart.
