It's the traditional Japanese building inn surrounding by nature located in Hirase Onsen area, 20 minutes drive from Shirakawago. Meals will be served in the room, please relax and enjoy your stay with us.

It is Gassho-zukuri house built from late Edo period, located in the World Heritage Site.
With the renovation the room is fully equipped with floor heating, so you can stay warm even in winter.
It is also convenient location to walk around the tourist facilities.

This guesthouse is a 10-minute walk from Gassho-Zukuri Village.
Only one guesthouse per day is available, so you can spend a relaxing time with your loved ones and friends.

WAY SHIRAKAWAGO is located approximately 1 km north of the World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go Gassho-Zukuri Village.
A small inn in a village where the harsh natural environment and inconvenience were supported by mutual help.
The inn is a place where you can feel "home in Japan" with your family and friends in the original Japanese landscape.
To preserve the village landscape, the exterior of the inn is an old house itself, but the interior has been completely renovated in a modern way.

WAY SHIRAKAWAGO aims to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

It is Gassho-zukuri inn located on the banks of the river near to Shirakawago Bus Terminal. You can relax while listening to the murmuring of the river and enjoy the countryside atmosphere. We serve homegrown rice and vegetables which were grow reduce pesticides.  At dinner the proprietress will perform the umbrella dance which is a traditional performance in Shirakawa-go.

We insist on using seasonal food such as high grade wagyu beef, river fish, wild vegetables with irori fireplace.

Located in the village of Gassho-zukuri farm houses in Ogimachi district, Shirakawa-go.
It is a relaxing Gassho Minshuku with a fireplace.
You can feel calm in the family-like atmosphere.

The inn is located on the banks of the Shogawa River which flows between Hida and  Hokuriku region. There was “Kagonowatasi”which is ‘a rope-bridge crossed in a basket’ connecting　Shirakawa-go and Gokayama distrct. Since then we have been loved by many tourist.

Though time has passed and the bridges and the roads have been constructed, we interact with the spirit of hospitality born and raised in a country village deep in snow.

（cf※ a rope-bridge in a basket had been used as one of the transportations in harsh natural environments in stead of the bridge.）

It is Gassho-zukuri house located nearby Hachiman Shrine and Myouzenji Temple. We serve the dishes with wild seasonal vegetables and river fishes. 

The Shirakawago Guest House KEI  is located for 15-minute walk to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can leave your luggage at our hostel and go sightseeing in the village.
Free Wi-Fi is available. Slippers, a hairdryer and free bath towels are provided. There is a shared lounge. We can speak English .
The hostel located in very peaceful and quiet place.
There is a shared lounge where you can get a distant view of Amou-touge(Amou mountain pass). Before your eyes there are the ruin of Kanenbou Doujou and a big cherry blossom tree.
There is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals with an electric kettle, a microwave, a toaster and a fridge.
As the public transportation, it takes 50 minutes to Takayama, 75 minutes to Kanazawa, 85 minutes to Toyama, and about 3 hours to Nagoya.
