We opened in October 20th 2002 as a hot spring in the world heritage site of Shirakawago.
You can stay overnight or just enjoy a day trip to Onsen.
Due to the location of the world heritage site, the building and the exterior were designed to be inconspicuous and taken into consideration scenery as possible.
The cypress trees are used lavishly for the inside of the building and it creates a comforting environment with the warmth of wood and hot springs.
The hot springs include sodium chloride mineral springs, so there are the health benefits include recovery from fatigue and improved overall health.
 You can feel comfortable in the hot springs.

Located 10-minute walk from the center of Gassho Village. Guests have commented “it was such a relaxing and quiet stay .”
Since we have many overseas guests, please enjoy the night chat around the hearth among the guests.

The entrance of the hotel was designed like the gable of the gassho-zukuri house. Yuinosho was opened in March 2019 as a hot spring hotel that values people's prosperity.

It is a Gassho-zukuri inn in front of the Shirakawa Hachiman Shrine famous as “the Doburoku Festival”.(Doburoku is sake that is home-brewed.
All rooms are Japanese style.

It is a private inn for only one group a day. Please enjoy the relaxing time with your family or friends in 250 years-old Gassho-zukuri house.

It is Gassho-zukuri inn located on the banks of the river near to Shirakawago Bus Terminal. You can relax while listening to the murmuring of the river and enjoy the countryside atmosphere. We serve homegrown rice and vegetables which were grow reduce pesticides.  At dinner the proprietress will perform the umbrella dance which is a traditional performance in Shirakawa-go.
Enjoy the fresh homemade dinner in  traditional  style.

The inn is 3 minutes drive（20 minutes walk ）from the World Heritage site, a peaceful countryside location.
Relax with the beautiful nature and the fresh air.
We have the warm cypress bath and serve the dishes such as the wild seasonal vegetables or  the river fishes. 

This is the only inn of the Gassho style with hot spring ,in Shirakawa-go Hirase Onsen district.
We serve the local cuisine mainly using wild vegetables and river fishes.
We try to use homemade vegetables, rice, and miso as much as possible.

If you make the requests in advance, you can also try grilled river fish, Hida beef steak, and rockfish bone wine. (additional fee will be charged)

The inn is located on the banks of the Shogawa River which flows between Hida and  Hokuriku region. There was “Kagonowatasi”which is ‘a rope-bridge crossed in a basket’ connecting　Shirakawa-go and Gokayama distrct. Since then we have been loved by many tourist.

Though time has passed and the bridges and the roads have been constructed, we interact with the spirit of hospitality born and raised in a country village deep in snow.

（cf※ a rope-bridge in a basket had been used as one of the transportations in harsh natural environments in stead of the bridge.）

We opened in 2002 ,30th year of the Heisei period in the Japanese calendar.
This is an old house brought over from the Hida district and reassembled here.
Feeling Japan in the old days, enjoy the cuisine of the mountain village and the natural hot spring of Hirase district.
