It is a Gassho-zukuri inn in front of the Shirakawa Hachiman Shrine famous as “the Doburoku Festival”.(Doburoku is sake that is home-brewed.
All rooms are Japanese style. 
Please listen to the sounds of nature and spend a relaxing time.

Located along the Shogawa River,it is a 300-year gassho-zukuri inn with an Irori. Please enjoy your stay and experience the country life in this historical village of Shirakawago. 
 

This is the only inn of the Gassho style with hot spring ,in Shirakawa-go Hirase Onsen district.
We serve the local cuisine mainly using wild vegetables and river fishes.
We try to use homemade vegetables, rice, and miso as much as possible.

If you make the requests in advance, you can also try grilled river fish, Hida beef steak, and rockfish bone wine. (additional fee will be charged)

`Wadaya‘ is a Gassho-zukuri inn surrounded by mountains where you can feel the beauty of  four seasons. We offer local dishes such as Hida beef and magnolia miso and wild seasonal vegetables. In particular, we are proud to serve our homemade rice, which we have carefully grown. The inn's family is the third generations of the Gasso-zukuri's thatched craftsman who have protected the connection with local people through "Yui" as well as the techniques of the thatched roof.

It is Gassho-zukuri house built from late Edo period, located in the World Heritage Site.
With the renovation the room is fully equipped with floor heating, so you can stay warm even in winter.
It is also convenient location to walk around the tourist facilities.

Enjoy the tranquility of the morning and night in Shirakawa-go. Recharge yourself with positive energy to have a better day tomorrow. We are proud of living in our old gassho-zukuri farm house, and we want everyone to to experience the way of life we are living. From Spring to autumn on the front side of the house you can relax on the veranda and enjoy the scenery of the village, and the nature of the Shogawa river on the back side.

The inn is 3 minutes drive（20 minutes walk ）from the World Heritage site, a peaceful countryside location.
Relax with the beautiful nature and the fresh air.
We have the warm cypress bath and serve the dishes such as the wild seasonal vegetables or  the river fishes.

It is Gassho-zukuri inn located on the banks of the river near to Shirakawago Bus Terminal. You can relax while listening to the murmuring of the river and enjoy the countryside atmosphere. We serve homegrown rice and vegetables which were grow reduce pesticides.  At dinner the proprietress will perform the umbrella dance which is a traditional performance in Shirakawa-go.
