Located along the road after Shirakawago IC, toward Shirakwago World heritage village (National Road 156).

Our store is homemade with a focus on miso and rice.
Please enjoy local wild vegetables, fish, bear meat dishes and more.
We accept advance reservations as well. 

A traditional gassho-zukuri shop next to the Wadas house.
We have variety of products such as weets, pickles, local sake, local products, seasonal products, many type of  Sarubobo, etc.
In front of the store " Mr. Shigeji" the sawyer is sawing and waiting with a smile. 

We have large selection of Hida's famous Sake. There is also a standing drinking counter inside the store, so you can try compare or drink various Sake. We also serve Hida beef croquette and Hida beef skewers if you feel like having some snack.

Starting with the famous confectionary "Kintsuba" which have the taste of our Doburoku Sake (Shirakawago Sake), which was introduced in the travel PR magazine, we also recommend Doburoku Yokan (bean jelly with Doburoku taste)  and without additives "Akabu-zuke" (the pickled ). There are also Shirakawago special products and accessories, so please stop by when you are in Shirakawago.

We have a lot of dishes using Hida green onions and Tororo (grating a yam) and tufu steak (there is a limited number of tofu steaks).
We also recommend homemade red turnip Chinese cabbage pickled steak (for winter only). 

Enjoy tasty meals in the Gassho-zukuri building of Shirakawa-go, a World Heritage Site. Grilled tofu set and soba set is our recommendation.

Our desire is to deliver "safety, security, freshness, deliciousness, fun and happiness" through food. We use rice and vegetables grown in "rich soil and clean water" of Shirakawa-go. We keep the “taste of Shirakawa-go” with cooking technique that passed down from generation.
We want to create the feeling of "I want to live forever! I want to come visit again! I want to live in Shirakawa-go" to our customers.
