It is Road Station after Shirakawago IC where you can take a rest, there also a display of Gasso-zukuri architect and explain the building process of Gassho-zukuri house. There also Souvenir shop with various products.

Yukinko is the name of two sisters who grew up in Shirakawa and open the restaurant. It is counter shop so it is good opportunity for us to chat up with our customers.
The location is near to Wada house. Please stop by.

* Currently, we only serve as takeouts.  Such as dumplings and Gohei Mochi (Grilled rice with sweet miso). You can still eat and drink on the terrace of the shop. 
 

It's a small shop with about 30 seats, but we are waiting with a smile to make our customers happy.

Our store is homemade with a focus on miso and rice.
Please enjoy local wild vegetables, fish, bear meat dishes and more.
We accept advance reservations as well. 

It is one of the oldest stores in Shirakawago World heritage site. The products in the store have changed along with the times. Please pick some souvenir for your memory of Shirakawago.

Starting with the famous confectionary "Kintsuba" which have the taste of our Doburoku Sake (Shirakawago Sake), which was introduced in the travel PR magazine, we also recommend Doburoku Yokan (bean jelly with Doburoku taste)  and without additives "Akabu-zuke" (the pickled ). There are also Shirakawago special products and accessories, so please stop by when you are in Shirakawago.

It is a small gassho-zukuri house shop. The store that shows the owner's hobbies products such as handmade accessories and bags. Of course, we also sell local sweets.

Our desire is to deliver "safety, security, freshness, deliciousness, fun and happiness" through food. We use rice and vegetables grown in "rich soil and clean water" of Shirakawa-go. We keep the “taste of Shirakawa-go” with cooking technique that passed down from generation.
We want to create the feeling of "I want to live forever! I want to come visit again! I want to live in Shirakawa-go" to our customers.

It's a shop in traditional assho-zukuri house located just across the suspension bridge from the Seseragi parking lot with various soba menu, dumplings soup, coffee. 

Inside our souvenir shop there is also cafeteria and café where noodles is the main menu.

Gassho accommodation Magoemon is closed,
We are pleased to announce the opening of a new restaurant division, “Gassho restaurant Magoemon.

Magoemon is one of the oldest gassho-style building in Shirakawa-go village, and was built in the late Edo period (1800-1850).

The local cuisine is served in a space with an open hearth with an inseparable Japanese atmosphere (Irori), with each person being served with a Takasokuzen (high leg table).

The cuisine is mainly A5-ranked Hida beef grilled with Hoba miso, using homemade Hoba miso, and other local dishes.

The rice is Koshihikari, home-grown with reduced pesticides.

Beverage and dessert sets are also available.

The house was used for filming as the main character's family home in the 2021 japanese drama 「Beloved」.
 

Located  near the Kanda and Nagase house, we offer fried chicken and fried menu. Alcoholic beverages are also available, and you can enjoy traditional house view while eating and drinking.
