Toyama-Ke (Former Toyama House)


This former Toyama House was built by the Noto carpenter in 1827. It was once reconstructed but the original appearance is still solid.
The first floor is a residential area, and the second to fourth floor are used for sericulture spaces. Under the floor is the place for gunpowder raw material which was made until 1870.
Toyama house also run the lunch project where you can taste local ingredients such as Shirakawa rice, tofu, and locally-grown and wild vegetable.
