[Important Notice] Please wear face mask when visiting Shirakawago (from Shirakawa Village Hall)
Since Gifu Prefecture received the "designation of priority measures area for preventing the spread of Corona virus" on May 7. "emergency measures" are being promoted in the prefecture, even though the number of newly infected people is still at the highest level ever.
Based on this, at the request of Gifu Prefecture, we ask that you "must wear a face mask" when sightseeing in our village, regardless of whether it is indoors or outdoors.
Those who do not wear masks are not allowed to enter the village. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
In addition, please be sure to disinfect your hands when entering a tour facility, restaurant, or souvenir shop.
